All my guitars are made with high quality materials.  They come with "Schaller Gold" or Gotoh tuning gears  (other types are available upon request). They are all equipped with a carbon graphite reinforcing rod in the neck or an ebeny laminate.  The intonation is adjusted for Savarez Crystal strngs, normal tension.

Spruce  Model

This model offers the clarity and separation that Spruce tops are known to produce. Both Sitka and Engelmann Spruce are available. The shape (plantilla) is of medium size and a smaller size is also available. In order to deliver its best projection, I prefer to use East Indian Rosewood for the back and sides but other types of woods are available upon request, according to their availability. The cost of the guitar will be adjusted accordingly. I personnally recommend a Mahogany neck with Spruce guitars, its weight helping to produce a "warmer" sound.

Standard scale is 650mm, but can be adjusted as requested.  The width at the nut is 52mm but that too can be modified to suit your needs. The bridge is made of East Indian rosewood or African Blackwood. The rosette, bindings and purflings and  other ornamentation are unique to every guitar and the types of woods chosen vary according to the woods available and my inspiration at assembly time.

Cedar Model

Western Red Cedar has become a favoured choice of luthiers and guitar players over the last 50 years. Its warmth and immediate reaction (Spruce tops require some time before they "open up" to their full potential) make Cedar top guitars very popular around the World. Since there are vast supplies of Red Cedar available on the Western coast of Canada, it is also possible to get Master grade quality Cedar tops at a very affordable price.

The Cedar guitar plantilla is larger and can accommodate longer string scales as requested (655 to 665mm). The backs and sides are offered in East Indian Rosewood as a standard. Other types of wood can also be used upon request.

Spacing at the nut is 52mm, changeable upon request. The bridge is made of East Indian Rosewood or African Blackwood. For a Cedar guitar, I prefer to use Spanish Cedar for the neck. The rosette, bindings and purflings and  other ornamentation are unique to every guitar and the types of woods chosen vary according to the woods available and my inspiration at assembly time.
